Come to think about it, hackers could probably get more money out of my XPAP by shaking it, than stealing my debit card. Jim

I just got the ResMed Airsense 10 as a replacement for my old (malfunctioning) PR System One 450, which is no longer being made(?).
I notice that the bar graph on the upper right-hand corner is grey and has one bar... the manual says that greyed out bars mean that wireless communication is not enabled... not enabled says not turned on to me, but I can find nothing in user or clinician manual about enabling or disabling.
Any thoughts, other than poor celphone service (yeah, welcome to my world!).
Phil

I think the only way to turn off the cellular transmitter is to use the airplane mode. It is possible to disable that function by going inside the machine which could possible void your warranty. The most probable cause is simply poor cellular reception.

OK now everyone has donned their tin foil hats and has written to Donald Trump about chemtrails can anyone tell me where I can get one of the new 3G/4G modems for my Airsense 10?
Vodafone has closed down our 2G network here in Australia and I can no longer peruse my nightly sleep stats on the RESMED website whilst having my morning cuppa at work.

Be afraid. Be very afraid. Resmed just updated their privacy policy:
we may use your first name, last name, email address, and phone number to link information about you across ResMed platforms and other sources (e.g. public databases)
we may share your personal data with third parties to advertise promotional information on our behalf, including social media platforms (currently applicable in the United States only)
You were not dumb enough to give them the same name and email address you use in FaceBook or cpaptalk, were you?

One question related to this módem thing. How can you make the módem of an Aircurve work and transmit data vía WiFi in a country Different from the US? For example, Spain.
Thanks a lot in advance.

It's not WiFi...it's cellular transmission.
The user has zero control over the transmission of any data.
Who do you want to transmit the data to and what do you want transmitted?
There is a way to do WiFi and transmit the data to your own personal computer using a very special WiFi SD card but that's the extent of any WiFi stuff available and it's only to you and only with a very special SD card.

No way that I know of to do what you are wanting to do.
You might ask your doctor or whomever supplied the machine to you if they have any ideas.
Now you could generate your own software reports and email those reports to the doctor.
