Yikes! I totally missed that one.
No visits from Aunt Flo since the early 90's.

Are you in the United States? Maybe a foreign model meant for another market like Canada, Europe, Asia????
Yes, I am in the United States-California.

I have a hunch that my unit will remain upgrade-less. I talked to the seller, and this unit was for sale in another country although it is a US spec product. I imagine that Resmed tracks those serial numbers and is ignoring my unit. I'll likely be support-less if there's a warranty issue; at least I paid much less than internet price for it.

Well, other than an occasional connection fault with the heated hose I never really had any issues with the machine, so if mine never got the upgrade it would not have been a big deal to me.
They did say in the email from ResMed that the upgrades were going to happen during March and Aprl so we aren't even half way through that period.
The other thing I thought of if my machine never got the over-the-air upgrade I was going to either contact the DME that I used to use, or ResMed to see if I could acquire the upgrade via an SD card, so if someone really wanted the upgrade, but couldn't get it over-the-air for some reason like no cell service, or machine from different region, I would assume that it could be accomplished via an SD card.
Just a thought in your case.

This morning when I got up, there was some kind of message on my screen.
Couldn't read it though, since by the time I got my glasses, the message was gone.
When I looked, and saw that via the modem, my humidifier program was updated from . . . -0202 to -0204,
---again I had to change the sample period from 1 month to 1 day, because "Big Brother" switched it again.
At least I have a way to know when they have been looking. My pressure settings were unchanged. That's good.

actually, I'd *guess* that it resets to default display settings when it gets rebooted, and there was almost certainly a reboot involved in the firmware upgrade process...

Yeppers..............I actually saw my machine go through the over-the-air software upgrade process, got up for bathroom break at 4am and when I turned the blower off the screen started flashing very brightly, lit up the room, it does go through a power cycle to finalize the software update, thus the default 30 day sleep report period resets.
The software most probably downloads in the background and then waits for the user to turn off therapy before it installs as PR had previously surmised.
Interesting that you got your update finally, .........I have seen other references to the update being involved with the ClimateLineAir error message problem that had been reported in the past. Mine has not given me the error message since the software update.

Yup, after occasionally turning it off Airplane Mode throughout March and April for multiple nights, I can report that the unit remains upgrade-less...
Well, I don't have any complaints with the unit so fingers crossed. Has anyone ever obtained official confirmation that the improvement between humidifier software versions concerns the climateline?

The software upgrade did correct the problem of multiple ClimateLineAir faults that were popping up. I have not seen any more issues with that fault occouring since the upgrade hit my machine in early March.
If I was unable to get the over-the-air upgrade I would either contact ResMed or a DME and see if you can obtain the upgrade on an SD card. They must be able to upgrade via an SD card for those people that don't have adequate cellular connection where they live.
If you're not experiencing ClimateLineAir faults, or you don't use the heated hose then I wouldn't sweat the issue.

Kindle Fire is having a big non-optional OS upgrade these next few weeks and promises a 'newly designed user interface'. I'm sure I won't be able to elect to keep the old interface, so here's another thing to learn and store in my brain This is so typical... you finally get good at using a software interface (especially hard on a tablet) then they go and change it all around... don't get me started on Microsoft Windows 'upgrades'! But at least you can keep the older MS versions for a few years. It doesn't sound like AirSense is changing the interface or menu around at all, or so I assume. That would be good if they just fix problems.

how long have you left if off during these occasions?

I'd say it was connected to the cellular network typically 3-4 consecutive nights, approximately 5 times throughout the two months.
I generally did not leave it on standby mode during the day with the exception of a few days.
I'm not using Climateline so I will just carry on! Thanks. Just thought it'd be interesting to report that this unit (which was designated to be sold in another country) is likely being tracked by Resmed as such and thus not supported in this country.

and/or, they attempted to send the update at times you didn't happen to have the thing online.
