I'm just glad that most of the bugs we have here are big enough that I like to THINK that I wouldn't be able to inhale one enough to get it stuck in my throat. Maybe just by the nostril where it could be splay-legged, screaming, "NOOOOO!!!!"

Tatooed Lady wrote:So spiders, you say...I suppose I should knock down the little web in the corner of my sewing room door frame. The Boyfriend in his INFINITE wisdom decided to tell me that the little dots in there were spider eggs. A LOT of them.
look close, they might be bugs trapped in the web instead
I don't think spiders put their eggs in their webs...
I'm asking my spidergirl friend.
who says that eggs are normally laid in an eggsack and that can be attached to most anything, web, twig (or twig analog) passing caterpillar, etc. though she wouldn't expect a lot of them on one web...
my guess is it's captured bugs.

Did I mention my massive case of arachnophobia? Yeah. So, even on facebook, I tend to scroll RIGHT past the big ol brown recluse spiders who have just bit some poor sap, who now looks like he will lose a hand because of the venom. And all HE was trying for is a bit of toilet paper! Imagine what could happen with a recluse and a xPAP! Wait...other than my online persona, I'm reclusive...but the BRS...

One morning after getting up, I found my former cat licking my nasal pillows, maybe it was the Lansinol that tasted so good. For whatever reason that cat loved the taste of sheep grease from wool.

While I do not like spiders, they kill and eat other insects. They may just like bedbugs.
I have a back house I used to rent, the renter had bedbugs when he moved out I shut down the house and noticed hundreds of spider webs in the basement space and under the house. I thought that was strange, but never ever had seen bedbugs before. As it turns out the spiders were eating bedbugs for lunch, living high on the hog.
The house set vacant for two years, until I let my son move in, that's when I saw the infestation, all the bedbugs and spiders were dead, killed by lack of food and low temperatures. All we had to worry about was the clean up. Jim
