Would that get my new s9 paid out of a pocket other than mine? I could fire up the toaster oven and hit the pharmacy....

You have been doing this over five years. That is stable.

closing on six, and I realize, unlike some people who shall remain nameless, that people are different, and have different needs, and what works for *ME* may not be what someone else needs.
the goal is to have good sleep, the path to that goal varies greatly for different people, and the important thing is to help people find their path.
telling someone who's numbers are really good and who's having very little disturbance to his sleep that he needs to reduce pressure so he has MORE events... well, that's just so amazingly
stupid that I can't imagine the thought processes that lead to such a conclusion.

Sorry. My English has improved much since working in the States, but sometimes I still miss the meaning. Did I do something wrong? I don't often give CPAP advice because of not knowing so much.
My apologies.

You said nothing wrong that I could see. I think Palerider's comments were directed at someone else.
Good to see you still hanging around. Hope you are doing well.
My comments in general about the pressure thing. Yes, it appears that the minimum pressure seems to technically higher than might be needed based on the graphs shown....but it seems to work for this particular person and that's what is important. There's no law that says we have to use a lower minimum and let the machine sort it out with lots of variations. In fact for some people those variations in pressure could present problems. Dropping to minimum 6 though....that would cause a lot of potential problems both in comfort and potential event formation. A person going from 11 cm for years and dropping to 6 cm would find it extremely difficult to even sleep due to air hunger issues. I had that happen myself and only with a 3 cm drop and I had only used that higher setting for one week. It was definitely uncomfortable.
I don't know what to make of the OP original thoughts about the pressure being delivered being off. I am having a hard time following and understanding what he has said but if wife hears snores...and snores are seen on the graphs...it is possible to have snores that don't materialize or grow up to be bad enough to earn a sleep apnea flag.
So I would like to see what the snore graph shows...if it shows anything along with leak graph because maybe what is heard is the face farts CG was talking about.

no! you said nothing wrong...
I was commenting about some other people on the forum who think their way is the only way to do things.
I apologize for the confusion.
