I was unfamiliar with the word/spelling until I saw it here.
Personally, I find it charming, and even a bit more expressive that the American equivalent.

I love the differences in languages and regional uses. I was the first reply to post on "that thread" and didn't mean to contribute to a border war. I just thought the words here, were too close and funny not to contribute to the laugh.

It was a teenage craze, the same as trying to spell my name in different ways.
