I use the nasal pillows. I have had the most luck with putting the headgear below a ponytail, but it still rides up and just takes my ponytail with it during the night. I would rather not sleep with the ponytail if I could avoid it. As long as I'm just sitting and watching TV or reading, it is fine even without the ponytail. It's as soon as I lie down for the night then I have trouble. The pillows stay in my nose fine until the headgear pulls them out of my nares.
I really don't think I'm taking it off. I tried two different nasal masks and a full face mask and I pulled all those off within an hour of going to sleep after spending 30 - 45 minutes trying to get to sleep. I am keeping the CL2 on most of the night so maybe I should just leave it alone. I am thinking about getting either a Breeze or Swift. I got the ComfortLite 2 for free from the mask lady at my sleep center. It's been over six months since I got my first mask so I can get a new one from my DME and the insurance company will pay for most of it. I know my DME has the Swift in stock because I first tried it there. I didn't like it much because it pulled at my nose, but I bet I can play with the adjustments more and it will fit. I went with the CL2 because of its adjustability, but that was based on 5 minutes with the two in the office. If I just get the Swift with insurance, I won't be out much and if I don't like it, I can get new pillows for my CL2 from my sleep center.
Thanks for all the suggestiong! Any other suggestions or observations about the CL2 or other nasal pillow interfaces would be greatly appreciated!
