OkyDoky wrote:Mike, Have you downloaded Sleepyhead yet from the link that I posted earlier? That way you can tell if the AHI is composed of central, obstructive, or hypo apneas. They may need to be addressed differently.
I did. I couldn't get it to open so I just figured I would wait. I see the sleep center people in the am. I removed the SD card from the machine and looked at the files there but none of them will open.

What point did you get to? Did you get it unzipped? Did it give you an error code? If I can't help, others can.

I got it open. Tried to open the file that looked like the installation file but got an error that I was missing some other file.

When you unzip you have to extract it to another file and from that file click on either openGl or brokenGl file.
The open requires a faster video card but try it first, if it doesn't work try the brokenGl one.
If you get a missing file then write it down and let us know. I initally had difficulty with it but finally got it done.

imgur.com for those that don't want to have to worry about their kookyness being exposed.

No worries at my age.

You want to give Mike some tips on posting the daily detail for that 1.42 hours, PailRider?

Yeah! I'm glad you have it working! And now, after you see the sleep clinic, if they make changes you can monitor and see a lot more data than on your machine screen. You are tackling your problems and once you are able to wear it for longer periods it will get better. I like to be able to look at my progress on Sleepyhead.

Turned out I was missing a Microsoft item to allow me to use it. After I got that I was able to use it.

Well, I had a visit with the sleep specialist this morning. She said the high pressure was definitely the cause of the air in the stomach. It was lowered to 11 and the ramp time was changed to 45 min. instead of auto. I also have a new mask, one that does not have the forehead support. She thought that was putting too much pressure on the bridge of the nose. So, we'll try it tonight and see what happens. Oh, she also raised the temp. to 86 and the humidity down to 2. That was because of the congestion I have.
I asked her about changing to the biPAP if need be and she said she didn't think there was a need for it, that we can make the necessary adjustments with the present machine.

Looks like the next step is to start looking at your data in Sleepyhead, and taking control of this.
