You might want to download SleepyHead software, it is free. Compared to Encore it is like going from an old black and white TV to a 50" Hi Def Flat Screen. SH does integrate the Oximeter data and the APAP data.
I don't think sleephead integrates with my phillips ASV machine.. Encore seems a little limited, wish I could use sleepyhead.

I believe I am using this:
Encore Pro 2.12 64 bit

So I used my pulse OX all night last night. Here are my results, with yet ANOTHER instance where it shows my 02 going below 88% and my pulse spiking well above 100.
What's going on? Artifact again?

import the data into sleepyhead and see what it looks like with your cpap data.

My ASV is not compatible with sleepyhead. looking at my data in encore last night, my AHI was 1.4 all comprised of hypopneas.

I ask again what I asked in the other thread, which you didn't answer, have you tried the current version of sleepyhead?
if you can't use SH, then at least compare any events between the two reports at the time of whatever that was, if you don't have any breathing anomalies, that should tell you something

I can certainly try downloading and installing sleepyhead, perhaps it has become compatible over the past year. Unfortunately, encore doesn't really do a good job of marking times for when events occur.
I see nothing in encore report that shows any long lasting cessation of breath, at least that I can see. no apneas or PB, just hypopneas which are quickly fixed when the machine kicks in.
Thanks.

That looks more like something like a heart flutter. The heart looses efficiency in pumping, then O2 drops. The heart resets and everything goes back to normal.
An obstruction in breathing is usually the other way around. O2 drops, then the heart rate increases to build the O2 levels back up.

Hmm, that's not reassuring to hear. I sent this to my DME, but whenever I send them snapshots of possible concerns, they just say everything is normal.

If you want to discuss it you need to do so with someone that knows how to read oximetry data. A cardiologist would be a good choice. Your general practice doctor may also have some experience with this.
I wouldn't expect your DME to understand anything beyond the general basics.

By DME, i mean my sleep board certified sleep doctor. Do you feel fairly confident that this is some sort of heart flutter or irregular rhythm, at least in the snapshot I provided?

Let's put this into perspective...
People experience irregular heart rhythms all the time. Most people don't track their pulse rate so they go unnoticed until they occur frequently during the day.
I gave you my "best guess." While I have had a lot of experience reading oximetry data I am not an expert so just take it as a "best guess."
