Differences between the S9 and the Airsense 10:
* S9 has a smaller footprint/size without its humidifier (so better for traveling, if a humidifier is not always required)
* S9 + h5i humidifier is much bigger than the Airsense 10 with its humidifier. However, since it's a separate device on the S9, much easier to repair/fix without replacing the whole device
* A10 sold with humidifier can't be used without the chamber, without buying an extra door on the side. Chamber can amplify breathing noise
* Power bricks are about the same size and weight. However, it's possible to buy a smaller/lighter 30w travel power supply for the S9 (can only be used without the humidifier)
* S9 heated tube can only be used with the humidifier connected to the machine. On the A10, heated tube can be used with or without humidifier
* A10 humidifier tank/tub is slightly easier to clean
* In term of functionality, they are about the same. I believe the pressure algorithms are pretty much the same
* A10 has a built-in cell/GSM connection, to report summary data/compliance to the Resmed servers/MyAir. Can be annoying, as when switched off, keeps displaying messages
* there seem to be more people complaining about the noise level of the A10 (any models), particularly when used with the humidifier chamber. Some random units are noisier than others
* Filters are the same
* Non-heated hoses (including slimline) are the same
* Padded bags are equivalent in size. The A10 bag is probably a bit more rigid and I think nicer
