Sounds like you are not convinced yourself.

If you want to lead a campaign, you need to put together a more cogent elevator speech than what you posted above. Start working -

I had this problem myself! I started out with a full-face mask but it worsened my feeling of claustrophobia (my initial pressures were hurricane-force, 25 and 15), so I switched to a Wisp nasal mask. I liked this better but my mouth doesn't stay shut either. Chin straps wouldn't stay put, and I didn't like the feeling of compression under my jaw. I tried a strip of paper first-aid tape placed vertically just under my nose to just under my lower lip. It keeps my mouth closed enough to get therapy, but loose enough that I could open my mouth quickly in an emergency.
I would also recommend a Breathe Right strip (store brands work just as well and aren't as hard to get off in the morning) to keep your nose open. I have a deviated septum and allergies, so I alway feel congested. The force of air helps keep my sinuses open, too.
Good luck.
