Alex, do you realize that a lot of your depression might well have been due to undiagnosed OSA as it was for many of us?
Is it possible some meds you take (if you take any) could be responsible for your wakenings (have a slight diuretic effect)?
I still think tho' that you'll stop waking altogether once Cpap is working optimally.

Hmmm. The subject is nocturia and Wulfman says,

Doesn't sound appealing.

I had a tinkling of a notion that you would exhibit a sense of humor today Julie. As the day goes on I hope your good humor does not peter out.

Is excess peeing only at night? Maybe diabetes? Nasty thought.

Are you thinking that you don't get good sleep because you must not be getting it as a result of awakening, or are you actually feeling sleep deprived?
Most of us are way past young and most have some glitch or other to keep life from being perfect, but you can get used to things and still have a good life if you don't continually tell yourself it's lousy. Just think of how you'd feel if you had no access to MDs or Cpap or meds, etc... it's how a lot of the world lives and manages to get by, appreciating the good things and just letting some of the bad go. Try it sometime, you might surprise yourself at how well you can manage ... think of going forward instead of being... wherever it is you are, stop telling yourself life sucks and find some small thing to feel ok about and another one to look forward to.

I suppose you'd prefer to not wake up to pee? (enuresis)
have you never looked at a sleep cycle chart and noticed the light/awake periods between each stage?
you seem to want to go to bed and go into deep sleep all night long, and that's just not normal.

I don't know if you have to get up at a certain time for work, but if not, or if you can e.g. go to bed earlier, then if you wake up go and do something (read a book) for a while til you get sleepy again instead of lying in bed fighting insomnia. Don't use the computer tho' or TV, because they'll wake you up even more.

Palerider commenting on 'normal...now that's a laugh!
There are many factors that could be contributing to you having to get up to pee at night...since you seem to have ruled out many of them my thoughts would be 1) you haven't given your therapy long enough to work and 2) your anxiety about the situation is actually contributing to you continuing to need to pee!!!
Is this what is your mind prior to going to bed and as you fall asleep? The thought process is very powerful and you thinking about it could be making it happen!
My continued advice is to CHILL and let the c-pap therapy take it's course...

hey, you, I never claimed that *I* was "normal"!!!
but that doesn't preclude me from being able to read data and report as to what is considered normal, or common, in the appropriate literature.
so there
