Well I'll be damned. Had not realized that they finally made a REAL travel case! However, not sure why they want you to separate the two halves. From the image, it appears that those dividers are removable. I would likely take one out so that the machine travels whole. It seems to me that there is a greater risk of damage due to connecting and reconnecting the halves all the time than there is risk due to travel with them connected. I might think differently if I were planning to check the bag for air travel - but who in their right mind does that?!
For now, I'm still using my m series for travel. Likely won't change that until long after the PRS1 has been replaced with a next generation machine.
