Well I'll be damned. Had not realized that they finally made a REAL travel case! However, not sure why they want you to separate the two halves. From the image, it appears that those dividers are removable. I would likely take one out so that the machine travels whole. It seems to me that there is a greater risk of damage due to connecting and reconnecting the halves all the time than there is risk due to travel with them connected. I might think differently if I were planning to check the bag for air travel - but who in their right mind does that?!

For now, I'm still using my m series for travel. Likely won't change that until long after the PRS1 has been replaced with a next generation machine.

I just bought a Case Logic SLRC-206 DSLR Camera backpack. It is perfect for fitting my PRS1 & Humidifier, heated hose, my F10 Mask and the power supply. It still has room for my APC surge protector. I paid $45 for it at Fry's electronics today. You can look up the specs at Amazon. At the bottom of the backpack, the depth is more than 6 inches. So it has ample room for my PRS1 humidifier's bulging hose connector.

And there is enough high quality foam pieces with velcros, to make sure the menu selector knob and the hose connector never get pressed on, in regular use.
