A friend of ours was diagnosed with Meniere's a few years ago, and has written extensively about his experience. He has been able to almost completely control the symptoms through lifestyle modifications, and paying very careful attention to the additives in foods, water, etc. It isn't directly on point to your question but thought you might find his experience worth reading. Best wishes as you navigate this journey!

Thanks for the blog......

I was lucky finding this forum for my apnea, looking for a similar one for meniere's.

Some good news. My meniere's started after some brain surgery, probably related to swelling from hte surgery.

it went away when I went on radiation and they put me on steroids,,,,,, When I pointed this out to the ent, he tried putting me on steroids, and said it it worked it could point to a future long term solution.....

It worked immediatly. i started steroids 3 days ago and have had no nausea since I started.... have an apoitment with the menieres specialest next week and we will see where it goes.
