Had an odd little hiccup this morning, but don't have enough data to call it a bug yet. I inserted my sd card and launched Sleepyhead. It loaded my profile and previous data was all there, and then I went to the loader. The panel came up saying that I needed to insert the card, and the program was spinning waiting for that. I force-quit Sleepyhead and relaunched it, and it came up fine, but then when I went to load data it went into perma-spin asking for the card again. This time I went to Disk Utility and I unmounted the NO NAME partition in the sd card and mounted it. At which point Sleepyhead popped up the panel telling me that it had found the sd card and everything proceeded as normal.
Looking at my system.log file, there are a whole lot of Sleepyhead warnings about memory leaks, but nothing that looks like an error for the card read. I opened the laptop this morning after closing it at work last night, so there is lots of other cruft in the log file -- especially the disk mounter looking for those afs mounts that it isn't going to find because I'm not at work -- so I could have easily missed something significant.
If it happens again, I'll run it down more systematically. But if anybody else is looking for a little trick when Sleepyhead is having trouble finding the sd card, an unmount/mount cycle worked for me.

New Version is GREAT..I really like how well my Pulse and O2 is inputted and lines up with the other graphs.
I also like the fine green line and how it can show a sample reading on ALL graphs.
I also like how much more information is shown. (projected knowing more can help fix things...)
NOW I need to understand all the extra data given.
And then what to do to make my sleep better.
Thanks for the upgraded version..will it ever become a done system as I noted that the last one never did.
Rich
So is this working correctly??

A couple of suggestions:
A) The box telling us to remember to put our SD Cards back should take a click to close, it goes away way too fast to barely read it.
B) As we are told to write protect the SD Card before inserting it, this warning should also include the warning to unprotect the card before returning it to our machines...
Minor things but I think it would be better use of that window...

I cannot figure out how to add a bug report.
Would appreciate a walk-through.
Thanks, Nate

http://sourceforge.net/p/sleepyhead/bugs/ you have to make an account there, I think it's pretty straightforward.

MAC OSX 10.10 Yosemite.
Anyone else have the OXIMETER wizard crash the App as soon as it starts?
whether the oximeter is plugged in or not?
immediately after the selection of the model

1. thanks for the reply. this was an OS upgrade so i assumed that the drivers stayed where they were but i now realize that is a faulty assumption
2. i remember finding the drivers earlier but can't find them now
- the CLICK HERE link in SH is not working on OS X
- the link itself points to this page
http://sleepyhead.sourceforge.net/wiki/ ... =Main_Page which does not have information about drivers only to mention they are needed
- not seeing them in google search for "USB to Serial UART sleepyhead" anywhere
3. would you mind sending me the link for these drivers if you have them? (using OS X)
i can reinstall quickly and see if this was a simple issue.

Thank you Mark for your programming skills and Pugsy for your skills at leading software/downloading novices down the right path to install v9.8. I'm up and running and love the new v 9.8. All the nice new features are waiting for me to try them out. I think it's so nice to have the ResMed icon come up with the last days usage described therein. Again thanks for all your help.

ugh... well, we'll have to wait for Mark to get to feeling better, he's been under the weather the last couple weeks and hasn't felt up to programming. I'm sure that he'll get it fixed in short order though, as soon as he gets into it (he develops SH on a mbp)

I imported data from SD card from my ResMed S9 Escape Auto. it knows the machine and model and mode, but otherwise only has the compliance data. pressure is flat a 4 AHI is flat at 0. In daily view it saya "BRICK! " - and says the machine doesn't record useful data to graph in daily view.
But my DME used the same SD card to generate a report that showed variable pressure and AHI data. It appears that the data is not being read correctly.
