(There is a wildfire in my area, that may be contributing to the congestion I'm feeling since I have my window open with the fan exhausting the hot air in my room out.)
We're getting smoke blowing in from somewhere. My brother-in-law said they had strong winds in North-Eastern Idaho yesterday, so maybe that's your wildfire smoke we're getting.
Anyway, (again).......What humidifier setting do you use? Please review my previous post (above).

Den, we had a small (50ac) fire about 4 miles as the crow flies from my backdoor. Did you hear about the two mountain lion kits they rescued? I'm told it made national news.
I read your earlier post. I haven't tapped into the clinical settings yet, but my humidifier temp is set at 83° and works well for me, *when I remember to do a nasal rinse.* Last night I skipped it and the congestion on my left side made it tough to fall asleep, but I still slept well and soundly, and my AHI was 1.8

Yeah, I read about it in the Billings Gazette (one of the daily online papers I read).
I guess I'll have to check to see where the smoke is actually coming from.......
Upon checking, it could be coming from just about anywhere, today.

I found years ago that a "nasal cleansing" was an essential part of my nightly routine. I came up with my own quick and simple variation and don't use a neti pot or any of that stuff. Then, using "passover" (cool) humidification, it keeps my nasal passages clear.

Precisely my line of thinking when he mentioned adding turbinate reduction. BIG red flag for me...

Why am I getting images in my head of Steve Martin (Orin Scrivello - D.D.S.) and Bill Murray (Arthur Denton) from the movie "Little Shop of Horrors"???......in the scene where the masochistic patient meets the sadistic dentist.......
Arthur Denton: "I think I need a root canal. I definitely need a long, slow root canal. "

Much of that may come to an end in a few years -
