Anyone else having an issue with a good mask seal, yet machine only registers 2 or 3 hours when it’s been on for 8??

What machine are you using?

Have you looked at the time setting on the machine?

ResMed machines treat a day as noon to noon, so if the time is way off it might register two sessions rather than one. Likewise if you are a shift worker and go to bed in the morning and sleep through noon it will split the session.

For a poor mask seal, find your mask model on YouTube. Watch a couple of videos about "fitting and adjusting" your mask model.

Please clarify this. Is your leak so bad that the machine cannot detect your breathing?

If you badly need help, do this:

1. Get a free account at SleepHQ.com
2. Upload your machine's SD card
3. Post the link to your SleepHQ analysis in this thread.

For other reasons, you will find that SleepHQ is valuable.
