Hello all,
I started CPAP therapy 2.5 week ago on a Resmed 11 using the P10 nasal pillow mask. Being somewhat of a mouth breather, I switched to the F40 last night. I had the most restful sleep yet but when I awoke this morning the myAir app showed only 14 min. of usage. I checked the usage time on the Resmed itself and it was the same. I'm concerned because I need to show consistent usage for Medicare approval. Per the instructions I left the mask setting option as Pillows (as it was for the P10) so I can't figure out what is wrong. Has anyone had the same problem?
Thank you,
Hugh
Usage time missing on Resmed 11 and myAir app after switching from P10 to F40 mask
Re: Usage time missing on Resmed 11 and myAir app after switching from P10 to F40 mask
Medicare usage for compliance is NOT consistent usage or continuous but instead it is 70% of 30 nights a person needs to use the machine at least for 4 hours. So 21 nights out of 30 we have to use the machine for at least 4 hours.
I have no idea why yours shows short usage (probably need to see a software report to figure it out) but even if you did only use the machine for such a short period of time you have some wiggle room to satisfy compliance requirements.

When things happen one night, I ignore them. If it happens two or three nights, you could:
1. Get a free account at SleepHQ.com
2. Upload your machine's SD card to SleepHQ
3. Post the link to the analysis in this thread
Some members here will dig into the issue.

sorry if this is obvious but are you sure the machine was on? for me, sometimes i can't tell if my machine is on because the pressure settings are really well dialed in and I have to look at the machine's screen while using it to make sure(or turn it on in the app)

Many of us favor the AutoStart feature. Two or three breaths and the machine starts itself.divinebaboon wrote: ↑Mon Nov 24, 2025 11:51 amsorry if this is obvious but are you sure the machine was on? for me, sometimes i can't tell if my machine is on because the pressure settings are really well dialed in and I have to look at the machine's screen while using it to make sure(or turn it on in the app)
