Heated vs Non Heated Hose

Post by kellygary76 » Sat Jun 07, 2025 10:02 am

Been on CPAP for 15+ years. Doing well with it. Use P10 pillows and no real issues.

My recent supply order from VA came with heated hoses. Never used them before.

Any reason to use them?

I don't see how after 15 years it'll improve anything. mostly used to combat condensation build up in the hose. if you don't have that, then carry on without the heat.

you can always choose not to use the heated part by using menu choices to turn it off.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.
