Cant download dreamstation anymore
My data is recorded on the sd card but I cant download using the dreammaper utility. Cant get anyone at Phillips on the phone. One recording I get from Phillips is that a dreammaper upgrade is in progress but i never get an upgrade. Anyone know whats going on?

Can't you see more data on the machine display than through DreamMapper?tommcdow47 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 11:55 amMy data is recorded on the sd card but I cant download using the dreammaper utility. I've got the same problem. The DreamMapper app (latest version 3.0.1) won't sync anymore - the message it gives under the notifications tab is that it no longer has Bluetooth permissions. I think there's a bug in this version of the app, as I double-checked the permissions and it has everything it should need. I have already filed a report with Philips at their support email (which they did respond to the last time there was a problem with the app), so hopefully somebody is actually looking into it.
I have noticed quite a few comments online that people aren't getting the upgrade. What version of Android are you using?tommcdow47 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 11:55 amMy data is recorded on the sd card but I cant download using the dreammaper utility. The built-in DreamStation display actually gives you less information than DreamMapper (at least on mine it only shows 1, 7, and 30 day averages for usage hours, AHI, mask fit and periodic breathing). The app allows you to look at a lot more information. If it's not resolved soon I'll have to take the SD card out and look at the data on OSCAR with my PC if I want to see anything useful.ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 12:21 pmCan't you see more data on the machine display than through DreamMapper?

Surprising.

It still syncs to DME, and the data will still appear, albeit a day or two behind.
Re: Can't download dreamstation anymore
That's if you have the DreamStation variant with a built-in modem. Not everyone does.

Re: Cant download dreamstation anymore
Recently updated the DreamMapper app to 3.0.1.306 on an Android 10 phone. Works fine to grab the data via the internet connection and has up to date data for the times I looked at it. I don't bother with the Bluetooth connection as that's been pretty iffy in the past whether it would connect or not. I mostly use DreamMapper on my PC while having morning coffee and checking email just for a spot check of the numbers. OSCAR about every week, unless the daily spot check seems wonky for some reason.
If the Bluetooth is problematic, if you haven't already tried, do a restart on the phone and maybe even the CPAP machine. Sometimes this will help re-establish a reliable BT connection.

Re: Cant download dreamstation anymore
Just in case anyone is still experiencing this, I managed to get mine to start syncing again. Apparently this issue has been common enough for Philips to issue a notification to the app (accessed under the bell icon in the top right corner) recommending a manual sync.
To manually sync:
1. Tap on the profile icon (top left corner)
2. Select "Therapy Device"
3. Select your device
4. Scroll down and tap on "Device Sync"/ "Sync Now"
In addition to this, I had to clear the existing permissions that I had given the app to prompt it to ask again. Then when I attempted a manual sync, it asked for permission to use location and bluetooth.
However, there is one key difference with this new version of the app - when attempting the automatic sync when you open the app, it does not automatically turn on location and bluetooth for some reason (the previous version always turned them on automatically and, depending on your settings, you would get a prompt to allow the location to be enabled). You need to manually enable these before opening the app at the moment, otherwise the automatic sync fails.
