Hello:
I purchased a CMS50I. Plugged it into the oximeter finger device and let it run on record mode for 10 min. Opened up Oscar and clicked the "Oximetry Wizard". Clicked the "Click here" link to download the Mac drivers from Silicone Labs. Dowloaded and installed "CP210x VCP Mac OSX Driver" Gave the driver permission.
Plug in the watch via USB A to USB C on my iMac running Sequoia 15.1.1 In the Oximeter Import Wizard I first select the CMS50-Fv3.7+...... Then click the "Import directly form a recording on a device" . It runs the "Scanning for compatible oximeters. Whether watch is on or off, it fails to find my oximeter to import from.
Please let me know if anyone has any ideas how to get it connected and download.
The error I get is:
" Scanning for compatible oximeters
Could not detect any connected oximeter devices."

Have you verified that the physical connection between the oximeter and the Mac is operational?

Well, I've tried 3 different cables and 2 different Macs. An iMac (2019 and a Macbook air. I wish there was another way to mount the device to see if I can see it outside of the software.

Re: Not able to inport CMS50I serial oximeters data
I just got a new CMS50i a few days ago.
It is very difficult to plug in the USB C cable to the watch. I can plug in the finger probe, but only because it is an L shaped USB C and I can squeeze the connector and watch increasing the amount of pressure I can apply. With the straight charging cable I no longer have the strength in my fingers to push the C connector the last 1/16" into the watch. I am looking into acquiring an L cable to solve the problem. My two old CMS50i cables have different connectors and are not compatible with the new one. the batteries in the old ones died long ago.
