Could you let us know what make/model of mask you use?
Oscar software is available at https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/

How can you be sure the mask is the problem and not nature?

Do you mean lines/marks after using the cpap mask, or dark eye bags?

When I tighten up my mask after the 2nd week of use my face gets puffy around the edges of the full face mask and under my eyes (bags). When I switched to a hybrid mask the puffy factor went down considerably. I find full face masks on the edge of insufferable. The hybrid aka minimal contact has given a huge reduction in irritation. I prefer the concept of the full face with no ports sending a shaft of air up the nose but I have to strap them down so tight to prevent large leaking it is painful and causes swelling. Hybrid mask examples are the ResMed F40 and F&P Evora.
