Silk pillowcase for cpap pillow

Post by Jen7559 » Sat Nov 23, 2024 11:10 am

A silk pillowcase is best for my hair. Can I purchase one for my cpap pillow? Or, alternatively, if I could purchase a sewing pattern, I could make my own. Any help?

Well if you know the dimensions of the (rectangular) pillow, do you really need a pattern? Just leave room for hemming edges.

Are you using a cpap max or other contour pillow that has pillow cases made to fit? If so, the easiest thing may be to buy one of the pillowcases made for it to take apart and use as a pattern. For the cpap max 2, cotton pillowcases are only $15ish.

I didn't know special pillowcases were necessary or even available. I use regular pillowcases on my cpap pillow. I have a silk one and cotton ones, depending on which ones are being washed.

The majority of pillows for CPAP users come with custom-fitted pillowcases ---> https://www.amazon.com/s?k=pillows+for+ ... doa-p_1_15

I see what you mean. Mine did come with a white form fitting zippered cover. I still put a regular pillow case on top and it doesn't interfere with the function at all.

Which brand/model pillow do you use? Search for it on cpap.com or Amazon. The supplier of the pillow likely has custom-fitted pillowcases available for sale.
