Adding my welcome to the Sherriff's. I'm a Kaiser patient in the Bay Area and might be able to help if you have Kaiser-related questions.

I hope you will be issued a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset machine. Kaiser is likely to want to send you home with pressure settings of 4 - 20 and then make adjustments after they see some data from your machine. Be aware that for many people, a pressure of 4 leaves them feeling somewhat air-starved. You might ask to be started with a minimum pressure of 6 or 7, with an EPR of 2 or 3. (Expiratory pressure relief drops your pressure a little when you exhale. A lot of people find that makes it more comfortable to use the machine.)

When you get your machine and mask, watch some online videos about mask-fitting, then set your machine up outside your bedroom during the day or evening and use it while you read, watch TV, or use your devices. This is a good way to help your brain get used to the new experience.
