Cpap accident
My cpap increases air pressure when seal to face is broken. When reaching to reset the machine, I coughed. High pressurized air was shot down my throat. Both ears popped losing majority of hearing and blurred vision. Left ear cleared within 24 hours but right ear has pressure and about 75-80% hearing. Eye sight is still blurry. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Re: Cpap accident
I had a similar experience--but DECADES before cpap!
I was blowing up balloons while ignoring congestion in upper air passages--
and experienced trapped air in my eustachian tubes for about a week.
CPAP alone cannot do this, but it can make a pre-existing condition more bothersome.
You may visit an ENT to address the problem, which is usually congenital.
Hopefully, something can be done about it.
In my late 70's, it still vexes me.
