The headgear in both masks is tested to provide proper therapeutic airflow when one side is completely shut off. What are your machine pressure settings? It is possible your pressure settings are too low.

8.5 start auto max 11 and x1 for mask type for Dreamwear mask
I have bad lungs and need a bit more air that usual.
Does the F30i have wider ducts than the dreamwear mask?

When starting I feel like I am breathing through a straw.
After a while it is just OK.
I had the normal F30 which was better but mask fit
Is not good for me.

I'm looking at the two masks side by side. The DreamWear does have thinner ducts than the AirFit F30i.
You might do better with the F30i, but there is no way to tell except by trying it.
You might also do better with a little more machine pressure. OSCAR is a valuable tool in finding the right settings and optimizing CPAP therapy.

With this setting my AHI is around 1
90% pressure is 9.5
I don’t need more pressure.

Are the ducts on the F30i any bigger than on the Dreamwear mask?

Great point. The DME I was referred to did not seem to listen. I called him on it and they're giving me a different mask. I had an F20 given to me at the sleep study, then the DME tried to keep me on an F20 even though I said it wasn't working well and hurting the bridge of my nose.ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 12:49 pmBTW,make sure you are in control of mask choices. The supplier (DME) may want to push you in one direction depending on his inventory, gross margin level, relationship with the distributor and other factors which have nothing to do with what is best for YOU.
