Could you, for the benefit of education, attach an Oscar graph of your OA's occurring when you are awake?
The fact is that I may have a lot of these false OA's. But it is not easy to be sure.

Here's a night where I was awake and had a bunch of OAs while lying awake.

Yellow, high-lighted top chart is when I was awake. You can also tell by the lower, and volatile respiration rate.

Thanks Pugsy, good stuff. Great idea for a sticky, how to identify false events. Here's a couple examples of false events that I get flagged with several times every night. Wake up, take a deep breath and hold it while adjusting body position and go back to sleep.

So correct me if I'm wrong. We are prescribed all these fancy machines that have all these fancy options to mess around with and the only thing that really truly works as intended is the air flow? So all the data the clinician or DME providers get are forked because all that matters is air flow?

Can you elaborate because now you have contradicted yourself? In one of your earlier posts, you mentioned that all that is useful is the Air Flow ( not an exact quote but around the idea ). In my post, I'm basically asking again if all the fancy stuff they have is useless and, indeed, just the Air Flow is what's correct, and then you say I'm wrong. By saying I'm wrong on the question, you are saying Air flow is not the only exact or truthful or correct portion of the machine. So which one is it?

P.S. I'm not trying to bug you. Knowledge is power, so I'm here to learn a bit more each day. I want to know what the people monitoring the status of the machine really look for to make/suggest adjustments

Look...I am ill and I just buried my mom. I don't feel like it....mentally or physically.
If you want to ask the others...ask them but not here in my thread.

These machines do a good job but they aren't perfect. That's all this thread is meant to explain. To say that all the data is useless is just plain idiotic. I never said it was worthless which you implied.

Take it to your own thread or just shut up.
