Thank you for your response. I apologize if my previous explanations did not meet your expectations. I assure you that I have been genuinely trying to engage in a meaningful discussion and understand different perspectives.

However, I must emphasize the importance of maintaining a respectful and constructive tone in our conversation. Misunderstandings and misinterpretations can happen, and it is more productive to address them through open dialogue rather than making assumptions or resorting to personal attacks.

If there are specific points or concepts that you would like further clarification on, I am more than happy to provide additional information or engage in further discussion. Let's keep the conversation focused on the subject matter and strive for a respectful exchange of ideas.

Thank you for your understanding.
Respectfully, Rubicon's assessment is correct. I agree that Rubicon is abrasive at times, but his delivery doesn't invalidate biological fact.

If you were to reduce your calorie intake to zero calories for 7 days, would you lose weight? ------ Or would your body be able to counteract this caloric restriction? Resulting in a net neutral or increased weight.

Would you lose the same amount of weight as me, or vice versa? Of course not, as there are other variables at play; however, the result is a REDUCTION in weight.

Oh.

So not only do you want a free gift, but unless the wrapping is to your satisfaction, you won"t accept it?

Good luck on that.
Freeze this moment a little bit longer.
Make each sensation a little bit stronger.
Experience slips away.

I understand that according to the laws of thermodynamics, a calorie deficit achieved through consuming zero calories would result in weight loss and I hope you understand I never meant to disagree with this. However, it's important to acknowledge that maintaining an intake of zero calories is not a realistic or sustainable scenario in real life. The nuances come into play when considering that the realistic and sustainable calorie deficit will vary between individuals based on their genetics, metabolism, and other factors.

"They explained that while my Tidal Volume is slightly lower than predicted for my height, it is still within normal limits."
It's likely you're in the early stages of COPD/Emphysema from cigs.

"Additionally, they noted that none of the SpO2 dips in the chart fall below 88%, which reassured them that they are not a cause for concern."
This doesn't necessarily mean things are OK. You can compensate by increasing RR, position changes, assessory muscle use, etc...
I appreciate your perspective and would like to better understand your reasoning behind suggesting that I may be in the early stages of COPD/Emphysema. Could you please provide further details or clarification on what led you to this conclusion? Additionally, if there are any specific tests or evaluations you suggest I pursue to explore this further and discuss potential treatment options, I am open to hearing your insights.

I believe my RR is within the normal range according to OSCAR data.

Would also appreciate any advice on how I can bring the potential for COPD/Emphysema up w/ my pulmonologist, they completely dismissed any lung issues after the lung function test.

Ignore my post referring to COPD/Emphysema. I mixed up your thread with someone else’s. My apologies.
