Now I am starting to wonder if I got a "bad box" because last night I had adhesive issues despite using Cavilon wipes. I will say that I occasionally see that the ring sometimes isn't perfectly centered on the halo, but that generally hasn't caused me any issues.

The leaking isn't happening around the ring area, not for me anyways, instead it's like the adhesive just gives up after a couple of hours.
When I got my Bleep Halos the boxes had a machine malfunction. It would place the stainless ring a little bit off center in one of the sides of the adhesives. Stuart confirmed that the issue has been resolved so any newer boxes shouldn't have that issue. In my own experience, I found the Halos to be very much stickier than my dreamports. Probably because the Halos have been manufactured and the dreamports might have been sitting for a little. I actually like the less sticky adhesive because it doesn't cause my skin to rash and peels off easier. I think the most important thing when attaching either of the products is to get the seal correct at the side of the nose. You will know it's right when you can see the side of your nose under the strip. I tend to be a little off and the side of my nose gets caught on the edge so I need to reinforce that area with tape otherwise it will come off. Just a practice thing. If you mess one up, just use it to practice with for the next try so you're not wasting a ton.

Did you have any issues with the halos where the rings were not centered properly? At first I was skeptical but didn't want to waste them so I used them anyways and there didn't seem to be any issues.

When I first started I definitely had my fair share of oopsies with the halo alignment. Sadly that doesn't seem to be the case lately. The halo just seems to lose its stickiness throughout the night. I will mention that I no longer trip the exterior edges of the halos, only the interior (to prevent overlapping the magnetic ring). The reason I don't trim the ends anymore is one night I trimmed too far, so I figured its better to just let them be.

Lynn: As far as eclipse availability, I know several people, including myself waiting on aeroflow. I was concerned early on that dme availability would be limited (not uncommon for new products in any category as production usually starts slow, then builds). It's why I sprung for the pre-sale option from sureseal. I had to pay out-of-pocket for my first 3 months, but hopefully by the end of march (when I will run out), the supply chain issues will be worked out!

Good luck!
Thanks Jimmy!

After reading about some of the production issues I can only hope to see some of the wrinkles ironed out before mine come in.

I want to make sure my insurance covers all the eclipse bits. I figure if they don’t I will wind up having to pay out of pocket anyway. The mask itself is cheap compared to others ie my N30. It’s the ongoing supply of halos that adds up.

I guess I just settle in and wait. Maybe I will call and see if they have a timeline as they seem like a responsive company.

Hey folks,

Last night I opened a fresh box of halo's thinking maybe I just had a "bad box". I also noticed something off about my Eclipse frame. If you look at your frame the magnetic ports generally angled and look like this \/. On mine they looked like this //. I believe the frame is supposed to last around 3 months and I'm at about 2 1/2 so not a major loss there.

Fresh frame + fresh box of halos, I was back to being sealed up tight. I didn't even use the Cavilon wipes, just the isopropyl alcohol.

In case anyone else runs into adhesive issues, this is worth a shot.

If you notice that your Bleep frame (new magnetic one) seems a bit 'out of whack', you should be able to adjust the angle of the section that contains the magnet. Looking closely at it, you'll see that the magnetic section is a harder plastic and it's mounted into the softer silicone U-shaped base. This was discussed in a previous post, but the magnet sections should be extended as much as possible (without pulling out) and you are able to make slight adjustments to the angle so they are more \ /, / \, or whatever angle(s) you need. If you do pull one out, it's fairly easy to push it back it.
