Great, I'll give this a go. Should I experiment with adjusting the EZEX with current settings (as of last night I changed the pressures, and AHI was a little lower than my previous "normal") or should I switch back to the default settings and then adjust EZEX? EZEX is only adjustable in 3 settings (1, 2, or 3).Miss Emerita wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 10:31 amThanks for posting your one night of data; that's really helpful! Unfortunately the chart makes no distinction between central and obstructive apnea events, but that isn't so important for you, since most of your events are hypopneas. They, too, *might* be central instead of obstructive, but let's experiment using the hypothesis that they're obstructive.
This suggests to me that you might benefit from using EZEX. I'm not sure what the increments are for your machine, but start with the lowest and make sure that's comfortable for you. Give it a few days and see whether you note any trend up or down in your hypopneas (or apneas). We can go from there.
Also, it looks to me as though your events are somewhat clustered. You may be tucking your chin down toward your chest, which can narrow your airway a little. If you use a high pillow, or several pillows, try using one fairly low pillow. Some people get a huge benefit from wearing a soft cervical collar at night to keep their head in a good alignment. Something else you could consider.
Questions about AHI

Re: Questions about AHI
Same here! I had to download the software and then the additional drivers to get it working. The software piece worked and installed properly, but without the additional driver it wouldn't detect I had the machine plugged into my PC. Once those drivers were installed, it recognized the device. I wish I could convert the data into a more comprehensive view like Sleepyhead or Oscar, but glad to at least have something. Thanks again for your help!zonker wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 10:48 amoh! i'm so happy that the software at least produces a chart. will have to tuck this away for future info.

I'd stick to one change at a time, and since this one may have improved your results, give it a few more days without addidng the EZEX.WoolyJ wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 11:10 am

Not surprised it has only three steps. So does Resmed's Exhale Relief Pressure.

If you've changed your pressure settings, I agree with ozij that it makes sense to give that a few days before trying EZEX.

Wooly 3 since you have so much experience with the transcend 365 can you answer these questions as I am interested in this cpap for traveling.
Can you use a six foot slimline hose?
Do you find the humidifier works well?
If you’re traveling can you use non mineral water from a bottle?
Is the machine quiet?
Thanks very much
