Hello,
I am back on CPAP fully now after falling off the wagon for several years.
I have been using an F20 Airtouch mask but was given a Dreamwear FFM with fit pack to try. I tried it for a week, initially I had some success with zero leaks, but when the weather turned colder I had condensation within the mask that woke me several times a night. Thereafter I increased the tube temperature, the following nights I had more wakes and restlessness, micro leaks, bubbling sensations at the mask margins resulting finally in a rash around my mouth area. I think in my case the extra heat seemed to affect the seal that seemed to caused by facial sweating around the mouth.
Anyway, I would like to try padacheek liner for this mask, has anyone had success using one. I think the nose area area of this mask may not seal well with a liner but I keen to have another try of the mask.
Cheers

Re: Dreamwear FFM & Padacheek
I have been using padacheek liners for about a year. I love the feel and there are no mask marks on my face in the morning. My leak rates tend to soar, but my AHI is low (in the normal range) and the leaks do not wake me up... so all is good!

No need to feel embarrassed!
The corollary to doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, is doing the same thing that was always effective under different circumstances and expecting the same results. For many of us, it takes a bit of time to work through new conditions. Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt.

Speaking of t-shirts, some folks have made perfectly usable mask liners out of
an old, clean t-shirt.

I use a Pad a Cheek liner with the Dreamwear ffm with success. Use it because when I sleep on my side my cheek gets a deep crease about 1” long. The liner greatly reduces the creasing . Leaks w or wo liner are about the same. Also tape mouth most nights and have near zero leaks w tape.
Re: Dreamwear FFM & Padacheek
I've used a Pad A Cheek mask liner with a Dreamwear full face mask for 13 months. I hand wash it with soap and water once a week. I've had to replace it every 6 months. It wasn't designed to eliminate leaks, but my mask definitely leaks less when using it. That's the main thing I like about it.

.
I would suggest checking out Amazon. They have many of the items you might need for a lot less money.
