Running out of water

Post by §leep » Sun Dec 04, 2022 4:22 pm

Wake up at4 hours tank dry brand new machine. Replaced by recall. Use full mask although a nose breather. Changed tanks and turned down humidity to 2 from 5 makes no difference. Call and filed complaints and yet no true explanation. I feel this is a manufacturing defect and still can't get it corrected. I have been told only replaced every 5 years. Very unhappy customer. My very 1st Resperonics water lasted 3 day but never with the last 2 Dreamstations.

The amount of water used changes with the seasons and location..Depending on where you live, the amount of water used in summer can easily be doubled in Fall and Winter months.

People are so helpless anymore.

Hom many threads are there here with the exact same issue?

Reading a few of these threads would certainly help the OP with the problem.

to be fair, the search function of the forum sucks.

a good way to search the forum is to put into your search engine cpaptalk followed by the terms for which you are searching.

granted that takes a while to wade through all the posts. and while it may be an eye roll for us forum veterans, it's much easier to find out the same info if the newbie just asks.

just my opinion.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

This is a legitimate complaint for this forum.

Has your leak level increased? A large leak will consume extra water.

I've seen other complaints about this problem with Respironics' latest machines. Sorry, I can't help.

If you use site:cpaptalk.com instead of just cpaptalk, you'll only get results from here, not from any other place that just mentions cpaptalk.

just my opinion... JNK's started another fad with is epic levels of wishywashyness?)
