Hi!
I am brand new to this forum. I've been suffering from sleep apnea for many years but just decided to do somethging about it. I was diagnosed with obstructive and central although my doctor seems to think that the central apnea is mild. I've got tons of questions but for now, I'll keep it simple. I've got a Resmed mask Airtouch F20 for almost 2 months and have finally gotten used to the feeling of it around my face. But. I wake up every night with fierce dry mouth, leaks, and my wife says I still snore inside the mask.
Any suggestions?

Welcome! When you have a moment, could you fill out your profile with your mask and machine information? Then it will be there whenever you post.
The dry mouth comes from breathing through your mouth inside your full-face mask. Do you breathe through your mouth during the day?
Meanwhile, one thing that might help you is Xylimelts, which are small discs that stick to your teeth or gums and stimulate the production of saliva throughout the night.
Do you sleep on your back or on your sides? Which way are you sleeping when your wife hears you snoring?
Without information about what machine you have, I'm not sure whether you can use Oscar or SleepHQ to produce graphs of your data during the night. Let us know what your machine is (make and model).

Following up the good Miss, what are your settings for pressure, humidity, and hose temp if using a heated hose. As she said, OSCAR data is very important, but if you cannot use OSCAR for technical reasons then even MyAir or other info from the CPAP screen will be helpful for those knowledgeable in such things.

I'll say that you can find *tons* of answers to your questions on this site, someone has probably had whatever problems you do, and most of them have gotten advice that helps.lmanheim1952 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 13, 2022 11:39 amHi!

That said, the search function here leaves a fair amount to be desired, so using your favorite search engine, and looking for something like 'site:cpaptalk.com dry mouth', will get you better results than this sites built in search.
The first thing I'll say is that if you're snoring, then your it's a good bet that your pressure is too low.
mask liners are the best thing to tame the leaks, so that they don't make noise and blow air in your eyes. padacheek.com is owned by a sweet lady that's a member here, had apnea herself, and just wants to help people, instead of just fleecing them for as much money as possible, like so many other companies that prey upon those with medical problems.
