My SD card for Oscar has 5.9 GB of data on it and I will eventually run out of space.I would like to lighten the load by purging data, but the only option I see is purging all data. I would like to leave some of the recent years data on there. Is there any way to do that, or do I have to obliterate it all. Thanks.

Re: Purging Data
I believe that once the card fills up, it starts to write over with the newer data. (Not sure). I have been using a 2GB card for years without a problem.

Re: Purging Data
Thanks LSAT. I was wondering if all this data is also being stored on my computer. The reason I ask, is I have purged data in the past when I changed machines and the responsiveness of Oscar greatly improved.

As a rule, the oldest data is overwritten first.

Re: Purging Data
Purging data is an OSCAR term, I think it refers to the data in the computer's database, not on the card...
You can have your machine reformat the card if you want to - it's some somewhere in the clinician's settings. Or you can simply reformat the SD on your computer, and your machine will then prepare it for new use.

And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.
