Traveling and battery pack

I will be going on a Rhine River cruise in one month. I have a Resmed air sense 11.
I understand that all I may need is a European plug adapter. When in flight I would like to know if there are recommendations for a battery pack. I’d like to avoid getting a travel cpap due to out of pocket cost and supply chain concerns for availability.

About the battery, make sure to check with the airline before making a purchase.

Unless you have some techy talent you won't likely find the DC cord needed for the AS11. If you have an AS 10 (or have access to buy or borrow one) you might want to consider taking that instead.

For details about battery use in-flight you are better off speaking directly with your air-carrier.

I use the PO160UPS battery that I purchased from www.portableoutlet.com
I'm not sure about using it in-flight, as I do not travel by air, but it is allowed in carry-on luggage only.
Check out their web site, they have airline guidelines on there.

I have the AS11. All I have to do is plug the power cord that came with my AS11 directly into the PO160UPS battery.
No adapter needed.

Keep in mind that regardless what the airline policy is that the aircrew (Pilot) has the ultimate and final say.

Also note that should the airline not approve of the battery device as a carry-on you are at risk of it being confiscated right there. Unfortunate for us, American carriers don't do like I've experienced in Japan with a butter knife (in the 80's) they remove it from your possession and you can pick it up when you land. The fork they let me keep but not the butter knife.

In America they confiscate things then auction them off for more profit. Google TSA Auctions.

Of course if you have the time and someone near the airport to pick up something from you then don't let them take it from you. I've been known to take the shuttle back to the parking lot to put something in my car.

TSA thinks toothpaste is C4 or something so you can't carry that on - well unless it that tiny tube but a large tube that's almost empty is C4? <lol>

Quick story.....
Some years back I was early and just trying to locate my gate as I always do. Unfortunately, TSA confiscated a soda can I thought would be OK as long as it was sealed, but NO.

So I located the gate and immediately returned to TSA withint 2 minutes or less and surprise my soda was gone. So not everything gets auctioned off and this will give you some idea of TSA's benefits package.

The BPS FreedomV2 is one I have now since I had to switch to Resmed machine, which requires 24 volts instead of 12 volts. It charges fast using the machine's own power supply - no separate charger needed. The best part is there's no DC-DC adapter required. It provides 12v or 24v automatically with no bulky adapter to deal with. Small enough to fit in the bag with the machine too.
