Recalled cpap machine

Post by chriml » Mon Sep 26, 2022 11:03 am

Hi everyone…I haven’t been on for a long time and was wondering if someone can help me. My cpap Philips respironics system one with cflex was recalled over a year ago and I registered it back then but every time I call they tell me it’s being processed . Now they say I need to go onto an app dream mapper to put my therapy setting in and Idid go on but can’t get the app to give me the information to put into it. ( I’m not very computer savvy). I’m frustrated and if I go through my Dr again they will have to do another sleep study. I don’t want to do this again and I pay for my machine out of pocket. Does anyone know what I can do to replace this machine ?

First, do what they ask. With the DreamMapper software you just need to link it with your machine and it will do the rest regarding uploading your settings. From there they can finish processing the replacement equipment. I’m at the same point and have no idea when you will get a replacement, but hopefully not much longer. Philips is your only current avenue to get a replacement machine at no cost.

Other than waiting, you can buy a used machine on Craigslist, Facebook, or on this forum. It is out of pocket, but you get to choose what you want. Be sure to use PayPal or other service with a refund policy. LSAT frequently has high quality used equipment for sale, so keep an eye out for it.

Once you have run DreamMapper you can go to their website and see that the machine is properly registered.
