MISSING OSCAR DATA

Post by Iamstumped » Tue Aug 16, 2022 2:25 pm

Is there some reason that OSCAR data was not imported from SD Card?
On Monday (yesterday) when I imported my data to OSCAR, there was no data from my session for Sunday to Monday.
Today, when I imported my data from Monday to Tuesday, my data from Sunday to Monday was there, and was imported into OSCAR.
Has anyone ever experienced something like this before?

The most likely reason for missing data is the SD Card not inserted, or not seated properly.

For detail data (the graphs) the SD Card must be inserted during the sleep session.

For Summary data, it is stored in memory and will be written to the card the next time the SD Card is inserted in the CPAP.

I am having a similarly confounding issue with my SD card.

My data for the 15th didn’t have the numbers for AHI is listed or Marked CA/OA/H. you could see the zigs and Zags of the breath and some of the stats on the time spent using the machine and the settings but that was it.

Today I didn’t have anything at all.

I’m wondering if buying the absolute cheapest SD card from Walmart was really the best choice. I’m wondering if it’s got something to do with that or something else. Previous three or four nights were all correct.

This problem is happening with Oscar and with sleep hq.com.

I’m pretty sure I got it sitting correctly now I guess I’ll have to wait and see. I’m going to check the owners manual too. I got five dots blinking at me after I put it in and I want to go see what that means.

I have the same machine as you. When I put the SD card in it takes about 10 to 20 seconds and then I get a black screen and a message saying that it is loading the SD card please wait and then the main menu lights up after it loads. I don't get any blinking dots. When I take the mask off and the machine shuts down there are some blue blinking lights by the slot for the SD card but nothing on the menu screen. I also use a cheap Walmart SD card.
I hope this helps.

hmmmm

I have one of those little squares that you use to clean your glasses that I taped across the front of the screen so that I don’t disturb anyone while I am sleeping and then getting up out of the bed.

It’s sort of a blackout screen.

Yesterday when I pulled it out, the first day I had trouble, I heard the mask fan kick in. Maybe it wasn’t completely turned off I’m not sure. Maybe that was the problem.

I’m going to see if it turns out OK tomorrow morning and if not I’m gonna go and get a different SD card.

Not that I think it won't write to the SD card immediately after it shuts down, but maybe give it a few minutes to cycle through whatever shut down process it does before removing the card.
I have lost video from my drone in the past by taking the SD card out way too soon. I just got in the habit of giving machines a few minutes to complete the process. Nothing would piss me off more than to find no sleep info! Grrrrr!

That’s good advice. Thank you. I know it takes a while to send it off to big brother at the health insurance company.

I’m gonna pop over to your thread and see how you’re doing with your treatment. I’m dying to know how the N30 worked out.

DS, the data for Sunday night/Monday morning, was on the SD Card, it just did not import into OSCAR on Monday morning. When I imported my data for Monday night/Tuesday morning, the data for Sunday night/Monday morning was imported along with the data for Monday night/Tuesday morning.
There is no missing data.
Must have been them thar "ALIENS" from southern Missouri.
