Respironics Oxygen Unit - Just sharing

Post by Architect » Tue Aug 09, 2022 5:42 pm

My oxygen unit was delivered today, I only need 2L but was sent 10L, cause medical store didn't have smaller units. I said you should have brought a portable.
States when smaller unit comes in, they'll swap out. Got the Resperonics M10,. That unit is loud, sounds like a Saturn rocket on take off..... ok maybe I'm exaggerating, but it hums loud, so had unit placed in my living room 25ft away, no longer can hear in bedroom thank goodness. Asked if I can put in my garage, was told no, cause of 50ft hose restriction and heat.

Hope oxygen unit resolves my frequent wakings and less then 6 hrs sleep. Was told when oxygen level drops below normal, pap user wakes up. Wish me luck !

We have had several oxygen concentrators. They seem to get louder over time.
