Especially if they don't want to do it your way.
I've seen what you do with the cervical collar, scunci and all that crap.....scarey. I love you but it's scarey.

this is why i don't get upset when folks don't go along with it. i do it cuz it works for me. and i share it hoping it can work for others.

to me, it's like the popularity of the bleep mask. it seems absurd to me, but obviously people get an advantage from it.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

You get to decide how you handle any routine you set up. You are the only person who you have to make happy.
what?!?!? even if they don't do it MY WAY?

I never, ever wash the hose. I did once and it took such a long time to get all the moisture out. I figured the moisture in the hose was going to increase the chances of something nasty growing inside way more than leaving it dry. I've used the same hose for YEARS and I think it has been at least 3 years since I even had a respiratory infection.

I went back and read the thread that was stick it up on the main board. The one where someone was asking for success stories.

It’s interesting because the first posts were 2006 and then a large percentage of posts came in 2009. I only got about four pages into it but I found some really interesting stuff to take away.

Some of the most interesting things are how much the masks and CPAP machines have changed over the years. I mean to going back 13 and 16 years! I wonder how some of those people made out or if they just gave up and moved on.

I have to say I fell in love with my machine immediately. I had no problem with her at all My only gripe is the TMJ soreness/headache. I told the woman at the pulmonary center that I used to think I wanted to be buried with my phone but now I’ve decided that I want to be buried with my CPAP machine.

I was at around 13 1/2 interruptions per hour. My first night that was down to around eight/hr. When I had one day where it was down to .5 per hour I was through the moon! now I’m just trying to keep a more positive attitude for times like last night when it was two point some thing so I can stop thinking I had a bad night sleep. Lol

Go to a really taught me a lot and I really appreciate it. I feel like this is a major game changer for me moving forward. I don’t want to say anything yet because I don’t want to jinx myself. After my next doctors appointment, if this thing improves my house as much as I think it could, I will come back and tell you hopefully all of the excellent news. Ways that you never thought I could help. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for guidance in this journey so far.
