Evora full

Post by mets123 » Mon Jul 11, 2022 8:11 am

Not seeing much talk about the Evora ffm. I use it when I want to take a break from mouth taping when I use a nasal mask. Really like the mask but the exhalation vents are a poor design if you are a side sleeper. I cover them slightly with air filter and it helps.
Just wondering what other people think about this mask.

I've been using one for over a month, and really like it. I am a back sleeper, so the exhaust is not a problem for me. So far, it is the most comfortable mask I have tried, and I have tried over twenty.

That’s great Okie Bipap, if you are a side sleeper it is quite annoying.
Would like to hear from other people that have tried this mask. I switch between the Evora full and a nasal mask. At least I don’t have to tape my mouth with the Evora .

I have been using the Evora full on and off for the past month and really like it. I would say it is my favorite FFM that I have tried and I have several. I sleep on my back and sides, and the venting doesn’t seem to bother me. My go to mask is the P10 and I must use both a chin strap and tape my mouth to stop leaks as I am a mouth breather. Been using the Evora as a break from all that from time to time when I need to.

I've been using one off and on for the last month. I get a good fit with no leaks, but some nights my AHI well over 7 with lots of OAs. I have used a Resmed N20 for years with AHIs 1.5 or less, but I've started having mouth leaks, really want the Evora to work.

You most likely need a little pressure adjustment when you use the Full Face mask or maybe a cervical collar to get a consistent low AHI with the Evora. This is common. Full face mask users will often need a pressure adjustment upwards to get the same sort of results they get with a nasal mask.

We have had a lot of success with it. It's better imho than the F30 because it's a fitpack with all
3 sizes of cushions in the pack.

We have had success with this mask and everyone has liked it in the last 2 months we have had it.

Who are you and what do you do and who is "we".
You sound more like someone in the DME/medical side of cpap therapy than an actual cpap user yourself.

I have been using the Evora FFM since it's US release on May 9 (6 days after I got my Airsense 11). I have been a CPAP user for 7 years. I started with a nasal mask and chin strap but that was so uncomfortable and I hated it. I then switched to the Mirage and others I can't even remember, I've tried the Amara View, then the Dreamwear FFM , then the F20 , F30, F30i. The Evora on my opinion is the best fitting mask I've used. I have a trimmed beard so that makes a good seal even harder to maintain. Since the Evora I have practically ZERO leaks. The masks design with the harder piece of plastic covering the soft silicone mask is an ingenious idea. The fit pack that was released comes with all three mask sizes , there are some stores that have a 30 day trial period through F&P. I strongly recommend this mask.
