The last nasal mask that I tried was the Dreamwear nasal, S, M, MW. That one made my upper lip and nose very sore the next morning.
I’ve always had good luck with any full face masks. I’ve had the Forma M, L, F&P 431, 432, M, L, Mirage Quarto,
among others.
Yes, I’m willing to try a nasal mask, as long as it does not have anything that has to be inserted into my nose, and If I can keep my mouth shut, and not be breathing through my mouth, while asleep.
My wife and do not have a lot of money to go out and buy different types and styles of masks to be trying then out
I’ve been buying from CPAP.com for years. The first sleep test (in 2007), they gave m that has to be inserted nose, that was the most uncomfortable thing and I’ve hardly ever thought about a nasal mask, since then.
That’s when and why I started using a full face mask, even though I have a beard.

I started therapy in 2009 and masks have been improved 1000%.
Let me go dig out the donations box (I keep it outside in the shed so my pets and whatever don't mess up things).
Send me a PM with name and address so I know where to send it.
Anything donated is free to you and anything I have bought will be brand new will be priced extremely well for you. I won't get what I paid for it but I probably won't be needing to use it anyway. I will let you know pricing once I see what I have available. Some of the donated stuff is also in like new condition.

Made another change last night. I have a short, 18" tube connected to my Climitline heated Air hose.
After running the mask fit, (which was mostly a red frowney face), I even tried to eliminate leak by push the face mask harder against my face, (no leak), i decided to remove the short tube. I think that I may have found the reason for the leak.

If there was a small hole in that short hose that would certainly explain the higher baseline leak rate and the fact that you never really get the leak down to 0.0 level.

I had a similar thing happen a while back and my heated hose had a hole in it that I couldn't feel air leaking but when I put water in it then I saw the leak.

If I only import the SD Card once a week, or once a month, will OSCAR still show the data for each individual day?

Yes. As long as the SD card is in the cpap machine you will have detailed data reports for each day/night.
I have gone 3 months between importing from the SD card and not lost anything.

That is what I thought, and hoped that would be the case.

Just before going to bed last night, I changed EPR to 3. (Not sure how it got turned down to 1, because I did have it on 3)

Last night was the first time, in a long time, that I actually slept the whole night through, without getting up out of bed. If my sleep is being disturbed, without actually waking up, then I am not consciously aware of that fact, nor of any large leaks.
This morning, I do feel a little bit better than I have been feeling lately.

Which I was a little fly on the wall to see what is happening that first part of the night when things are so ugly.

Your box of masks to try should arrive tomorrow. I was a day late in getting them in the mail because of a doctor's appt I forgot about and by the time I got back to town the post office had closed.

My wife received the P30i starter pack (which she did not like), with her new AC10 VPAP machine, and the DME gave her the N30i starter pack as a replacement and allowed her to keep the P30i, so I decided to try it out.
I wore the P30i for about 3 hours while watching TV, before going to bed, to see how it felt.
This is last night data, while using the P30i, small with the standard frame.

Started to use the P30i M with the Standard frame, but had to switch to the N30i M with Standard frame after 30 minutes.
The P30i made my nose too sore, then the frame kept slipping on my hair.
The P30i, for my own usage, has been completely ruled out.
The N30i is up next. If it comtinues to slip off, then it will be ruled out also.

(Our DME gave her these masks, I'm trying them out for my own usage)

I think that I may have figured out why all the ugliness at the start of therapy each night. It may have been due to my pillow. Made a change in that regard. My pillow is a memory foam, with 3 inch on one side and 5 inch on the side. Been using the 5 inch side under my neck. Last night I turned the pillow so that my neck was on the 3 inch side.

Have you tried an under the nose full face mask like the Amara View? I hated having a mask touch the bridge of my nose and returned the Mirage Quattro after 1 night. The DME switched it out for the Amara View and I haven't changed since. You said the nasal mask hurt your nose and upper lip, could that be due to wearing it too tight? If you smash the mask against your face you lose the cushion of air built into it.

Not sure about it being too tight, but I have used several FFM's, F & P Forma, 431, 432, several RM Quattro's never had a problem with any FFM.
No, I have not tried the Amara View, yet.
Been having a large leak situation lately, and not getting a lot of restful sleep.

I'm going to go see a Pulmonologist (APRN-NP) on Tuesday, 5/31/22, I assume it is a follow up to my sleep test

After looking at OSCAR,

Would I benefit more by using AS11 Autoset machine or an AC10 VPAP?

I know that this is your opinion, and IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE, but I know that you have more insight than I do.
