The 3 month follow up is normal for oncology.

My mom had 3 month follows ups, then every 6 months, then yearly.

It's been on going for 5 years.

Yep, three-month checkups are normal after cancer. You don't have to worry about that. It doesn't mean your doc thinks it will come back. It's just standard procedure.

I kind of understood that, but it's good to hear it from people I trust.

2 week check tomorrow--then I should know a little more.
My eyebrows are almost completely gone now.
My brow pencil is sharpened and ready to draw my face--
as best I can remember it.

2 week check out of the way.
I am OK for my covid booster, a small glass of wine, eggs with runny yolks,
Ibuprofen, and tap water.
Oh, joy!
I will keep my port until after the first 3 month check in April.
That will allow, hopefully, a chance for the pandemic to cool down. (Fingers crossed)

Update: my eyebrows returned first--a touch bushier, and slightly asymmetrical.
Perfect would have been too boring--not me, at all.
My scalp hair is thick and soft. Nice.
Somebody said "salt and pepper"--more like salt and dirt--but it works for me.

Re: Super Froggy--Cancer part 2-update--port eviction.

Update:
I am getting the infusion port out a week from tomorrow
August 3--my brother Walt's birthday.
(Thanks, Walt!)--he passed a couple of years ago.
He was my sparring partner when we were little farts.
Now I get a little reminder of all the warm feelings he gave me.
