Because the "replacement schedule" is a FICTOIN created by greedy DMEs to get their customers to throw away perfectly good equipment and BUY MORE so that they will MAKE MORE MONEY.golfgame wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 8:06 amHow so, Medicare allows for the supplier to send a 3 month supply of the facemask portion for example. That eliminates the end user from having to place an order monthly. My supplier will not take an order until the 30 or 90 days cycle has completed and then it takes about 10 days for the order to arrive.
There is NOTHING that needs to be replaced on a Resmed machine every month (yes, I'm talking about filters, check the clinical manual, six months or as needed (if you're in a dusty environment), not every two weeks like your DME lies to you about.
Same thing with hoses, masks, humidifier chambers, cushions, etc.
*NOTHING* needs to be replaced on an entirely arbitrary "schedule", you were LIED TO.
