Going to make an off the wall suggestion, at least by Western standards.sirtosti wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 5:57 pmI don't know whatelse that I could look into or try, but I have an office job that I don't want to be seen dozing off during work. one other information I might add is that sometimes it appears the sleep come after I had eaten something. Find a place away from work and try a "power nap".
It is not unusual for a mid day nap in other cultures.
The wrinkle in "power naps" is to wake just as you fall asleep.
Notable people who also took power naps: Einstein, Aristotle, and Salvador Dali.
Anything that makes a racket when you lose your grip works. Dali used keys and a plate as an alarm.

If the "power nap" doesn't work for you, try an actual 10 - 20 minute nap. Why so short? You want to avoid "sleep inertia"
