My reservoir was stuck in place. It took me two hours to wiggle, tug and ply it out. It was stuck on the bottom not at the top. On inspection, once i finally wrestled it out, I noticed that there was a sticky substance on the plate in the machine. Once I cleaned that out everything was fine. Now I check regularly.
A nice warm drink before bedtime is so nice.
If there was sugar in that comforting beverage, a tiny drip could transfer
to the outside bottom of the tank when filling--Presto! GLUE!

Thanks for the tip. Reservoir seriously stuck, did the butter knife trick along the bottom and it slid right out. Noticed some sediment or some sort of something on the base - admitting to having twice used city water - wiped that up, microfiber cloth dried it completely and back to easy living.
Thanks again for the helpful advice.

The butter knife trick--but a little bit better:
An artist's pallette knife.
Thin and flexible, with a nice handle.
