MyAir connection

Post by Jimbo43 » Fri Jan 21, 2022 11:12 am

I am a new to this cpaptalk.com. I have a Resmed airsense 11 and this machine has had connection to wifi every since October. Last Friday I lost that connection and now I have no night readings on myAir app. I find out that my machine has T-Mobile as the carrier. Not good for me because I have no reception in my area with T-Mobile. I don't know if Resmed made a change because I don't know what it was before or if it was always T-Mobile. Saying all that my question is can my machine be changed to Verizon. Please let me if you can shine some light on this. Thanking you in advance. Jimbo43

It's not WiFi at all. It's cellular modem. I don't believe that ResMed has made any changes with their MyAir carrier but it is quite common for there to be problems at the MyAir end of things and people often complain of their recent data not showing up.

Give it some time....eventually it shows up. Most likely the problem is at the MyAir website cloud end of things.
There's nothing you can do with your machine that is going to change anything.

The connection went down worldwide on Friday because the app migrated to a new service provider. It was a one-day affair.

The problem should have self-corrected by now. If not, unplug your machine, wait ten seconds, and then plug it back in. Your data is still stored in your XPAP machine and is just waiting to be sent to MyAir and your therapist.

You may have an older machine. Mine has a 3G modem, so it will become inoperable soon. Not sure when T-mobile is ditching 3G, but AT&T is doing so next month.
