Resmed Aircurve 10 ST

Post by Aretino » Fri Dec 03, 2021 5:42 pm

I have the opportunity to purchase a used Resmed AirCurve 10 ST for $75. Its missing the water chamber but works. How do I establish the total hours on this used machine?

push the big button on "My Options" then scroll down to "About". under that menu you'll see the run hours.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

I pushed the big button while in the my options menu and do not see an "about" selection.

Did you turn the knob so that you could scroll down the menu shown?
You have to scroll down quite a ways.
Lots of videos explaining how....here's one.

I ended up buying the Resmed Aircurve 10 ST for $35. I pushed the big button and the home button for 3 seconds and scrolled down to "About" run hours is 6877 hrs. Is that allot of time for this machine? I purchased a new Water chamber for $20. I hope to get this machine usable until my Dreamstation 1 replacement arrives.

Not a horrible amount of hours considering what you paid for it.
Actually a good deal for that machine.

You are probably only going to be able to use it in fixed cpap mode or fixed bilevel S mode.
The other modes involve ventilator functions and it forcing you to breathe and you won't like it doing that.

Get the clinical/provider manual from here
https://www.apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap- ... tup-manual

If you tell me exactly what all your other settings were we can get you close in terms of settings.
So exact model and all the exact settings please.....

If you used auto mode on the old machine...this ST doesn't have auto mode available but we can get close and get something that will take care of your problem.

My dreamstation 1 was set at 9cmH2O. CPAP only.

Then I would suggest cpap mode at the same 9 cm setting.
Pretty straight forward.
