CPAP social media influencers

Social media "influencers" are all the rage these days. Many people obtain their "news" and "facts" from these people without questioning the validity et al. Most of the time these influencers use a variety of tactics including sensationalistic captions, hyperbole, and expressions. One such person goes by the name CPAP reviews. Is this "interesting" fellow credible? Is he perhaps a member of Cpaptalk.com?

I consider CPAP Reviews to be credible. His reviews are good; he doesn't just mouth what the manufacturer says, which some reviewers do. He often reveals aspects that others do not. He accepts corrections very well.

As for "sensationalistic captions, hyperbole, and expressions," yes, I think he goes a bit over the top, at least for me. And when he gets irritated or frustrated, as by the Philips recall and their handling of it, that comes out in the videos, language, and expression.

My question: How the eff is this OK?

I saw that video of his regarding Respironics.

No Youtube influencer creates a video on the fly without a rehearsal. I don't believe "CPAP reviews" is any different. I reviewed his comments section and for the most part, critical comments are absent. I suspect he deletes them from his channel.

I wonder s how far DEEP does this go? Does it stop with Respironics or are other manufacturers doing something similar?
What is the normal lifespan of the foam inside our machines before they are deemed toxic?
Who tests these machines?
Who keeps CPAP manufacturers honest?

I like watching his videos. he tells it like it is. did you see his new video about the air sense 11.
