Please post a recent night detailed report from OSCAR showing the high AHI night.
Just one detailed report for now.
OSCAR https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/
http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph ... stallation
http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph ... rpretation

While getting all that set up..
Exactly what settings are you using right now? AHI last night? Settings?
Mode....
Minimum
Maximum
EPR on or off full time or ramp only...if on...at what setting.

Did you ever have a sleep study using the cpap machine and mask to determine pressures needed?
Was your diagnostic sleep study done in a sleep lab or home study?

So....more questions....please take the time to answer all of them

1...Do you have a copy of the original sleep study report? If not get a copy.
2...Was the sleep study done in a lab or at home?
3...How was it determined that you needed this setting? What other settings were tried?
4...Have you ever tried a pressure setting with EPR (exhale pressure relief) turned off? If so, can you share a detailed report from that night?
5...Have all your reports showed a high CA/central apnea count?
6...Were you awake very much the night of this report or did you sleep soundly?
7...Do you take any medications? If so, what.

I would like to try something simple to start off with that should be easy to do.
Leave it in fixed cpap mode for now.
Change pressure to 8 or 9 and turn EPR totally off.
If you simply can't breathe with EPR off...change it to ramp only and make use of the ramp feature.

I want to see if your centrals reduce in number with EPR off and with the lower pressure if the OAs increase or not.

The AHI graph on the right is useless. Put the flow rate graph in it's place.
I have some examples here

Are those leaks waking you up?

   What the hell?
I guess I wasted my time....oh well...not the first time and won't be the last.

I guess he really wants to quit and not get help....wanted us to tell him "there, there, it's too hard so you can just quit"...fat chance of that happening.
I wish people who come here to whine and say they are quitting to just quit and not waste our time...we don't need to hear it.

I will remove the entire thread later after everyone gets a chance to have their say about things.

I often start my answers to people like that as follows: "Do you just want to vent or do you want help? If you want help, then tell us . . ." Some people DO want help (I did when I posted my initial whining) and some just want to vent and complain and hope they get "permission" to quit. Sometimes THEY don't know which they want until we ask.

It’s like me Dad used to say. “What the hell are you doing in the loo for so long? Get out of there and give someone else a chance.”
