SD Card Reporting Corrupt on Mac/Win application

Post by Elliot » Tue Nov 30, 2021 10:04 am

I have been using a Philips DreamStation 2 Advanced, without issues. I have had an SD card (2GB generic) in the unit and see that data is recording on the screen. However, when I try to read the card on my Mac or Win10 computers the DreamMapper software reports data is corrupt. I can see files are written on the card via File Explorer. I'm wondering if you need a proprietary Philips branded card on the new DreamStation 2 Advanced?
BTW, the iPhone app is fine.

No, you don't need a phillips branded SD Card. Any SD Card 32GB or less will do.

There are some statements in your post that don't make sense. Are you sure you're trying to import your SD Card data from DreamMapper and not OSCAR or SleepyHead? I thought DreamMapper got its data Over-The-Air.

On the off-chance that you meant OSCAR/SleepyHead, then you're out of luck. Philips encrypted the data on the DS 2 and it is no longer compatible with non-Philips software.

Issue RESOLVED; Philips DreamMapper support relates that DreamStation 2 is not compatible with the current DreamStation (Mac/Win) software. No plans to update per support team.
