Removing mask at night

Post by jacobm111 » Tue Nov 30, 2021 12:24 am

Anybody have any idea why I’m all of the sudden removing my mask at each night in my sleep?

When I first started wearing cpap about 6 weeks ago I had a bit of adjustment, then I was sleeping all night with my mask.

Now all of the sudden, I’m taking it off each night. Grrrrr

It’s comfortable, airflow is good……

I just wondered from experienced users if they noticed when they “x” they tend to take it off or something similar?

Just so weird it’s been about 4 days now every night.

Place a couple strips of medical tape on both sides of your mask. Place one end of the tape on skin (around the cheek area) and the other end on the mask. That way, it will hopefully, it wake you up when you remove the mask. What is happening is not all that unusual. A couple of weeks back, I turned off my machine for no reason during my sleep. You don't want to get into a habit of doing this. Let's see if the tape works,
